Well, it has been raining more or less nonstop for almost a week or longer. Not a lot of storms, just a lot of rain. Chickamauga Creek reached major flood status this morning. By this afternoon, several area roads were closed... including the route David typically takes to work. He told me that he drove through standing water to get to work this morning, now the road is completely closed (Spring Creek Road). I took a drive around the neighborhood to see what kind of damage was done and found Camp Jordan to be completely underwater. What a blessing that we live on top of a hill. We were not affected beyond a soggy yard and a garbage can full of "trash soup." Here are some pictures of the flooding around us...
