I have not made a post in forever! Lots of things have been going on around here... new dog... new man cave... new year. So let me start at the beginning...
In December, we went to the pet store for Cocoa some dog food and we came home with a dog! Her name is Daisy and she is an American Pitbull Terrier.
At first I was nervous about having a "big dog" in the house, but she is a sweetheart and she is a HUGE baby. Cocoa was a bit nervous of her at first, but she is really coming around. She sometimes runs up to her and tackles her head (when Cocoa is in my lap and Daisy comes and puts her head on my leg).
We adopted her from A Paw and A Prayer rescue group in Chattanooga. They kept her for us while we went back to West TN for Christmas. She has been with us since New Years.
And the Man Cave...
My parents recently bought a house in Birchwood, TN. My sister moved in over New Years and that left the basement empty... with plenty of room for the big screen TV. So of course it needed a big couch to fill all that empty space... and some movie posters to fill up those empty walls... which had to be painted red. It looks great and it is very cozy.
And now we are so close to graduation. Only 3 more months and we will be licensed school psychologists. To be continued...
